Advocacy State Captain Requirements

  • Be an active and engaged member of your local industry trade group

  • Field legislative questions, proposals, and ideas from BAC members in your state

  • Monitor legislative proposals related to the housing industry in your state

  • Work with BAC Leadership and State Legislators on issues that impact your state

  • Work with your Community State Captain partner to distribute and communicate information to BAC Members

  • Attend National Mortgage Brokers Day (NMBD)

  • Host and/or attend monthly meetings

  • Serve 2-year term

Community State Captain Requirements

  • Engage with BAC members in your area through social media & local networking events

  • Field questions from BAC members in your state

  • Work with your Advocacy State Captain partner to distribute information to BAC Members

  • Helping plan or host local events

  • Work with your Advocacy State Captain partner to distribute and communicate information to BAC Members

  • Attend National Mortgage Brokers Day (NMBD)

  • Host and/or attend monthly meetings

  • Serve 2-year term
